Buster Posey is out for about 2 months.

Posey has a broken fibula and severely strained ligaments in his left ankle and will miss at least six to eight weeks, Giants head trainer Dave Groeschner told the San Francisco Chronicle. Posey will need surgery on his ankle, Groeschner said, and it is possible a screw could be inserted.

"The fracture will be fine," said Groeschner. "The ankle injury is most concerning to us."

It's hard to imagine a more important position player than Posey to replace. The loss of Posey will be an enormous hurdle for the Giants to overcome if they want to repeat as the World Series champion. This brings up the question if they should make rules about plays on the plate. Posey's agent himself spoke with Joe Torre, leader of on-field operations for Major League Baseball, He also said he spoke with the players' union about the play. This is interesting because if NFL's players go head-to-head they get a $100,000 fine. This raises the question of whether they should put fines on these kinds of plays in baseball. Thank you for all the contributors making the information in this article possible for everyone to view.

The Mavericks Playoff Run to the Finals

The Dallas Mavericks have having a great run in this years playoffs. Dirk is playing amazing basketball. He is shooting spectacular with his one legged jumpshots, fadeaways, one-handed shots, and spot-up jumpers. Jason Terry is playing good defense on the Thunder, and making threes like there is no tomorrow. Jason Kidd is playing to his perfection. He is Making his threes, his jump shots, layups, always playing great defense, making great  passes, and playing smart basketball all around. Tyson Chandler is making his presence felt down in the paint. He was giving Ibaka, Collison, and Perkins trouble down in the paint. And finally, Shawn Marion. He is giving Kevin Durant headaches during each game, playing great defense on him, consenting every shot he can, and stripping the ball every opportunity he can. The Mavericks are having a great playoff run, but can they continue this against the winners of the Eastern Conference champs, Heat or Bulls?

Giancarlo's thoughts on the Heat vs. Bulls Game 3

I'm not gonna take sides on this even though i am a die hard Heat fan. i think even though the heat won, it wasn't an AMAZING win. Derrick Rose said "Miami is a powerful team at home." Sure we had our fair share of defense and offensive moments. but if the heat want to win the series, i think they have to step it up. Of course Dwayne Wade with his usual speed and all, but Lebron had moments where he kind of faded away. Chris Bosh on the other hand, the only thing i have to say is WOW. What he hasn't done in the past few days was done yesterday. Chris Bosh did amazing last night. One thing to make the lineup better is to take out Mike Miller. He is HORRIBLE. He makes all kind of mistakes, defensive but not so much offensive, because he doesn't do much offensively. Sure, he's a great spot filler while players rest up, but doesn't really affect the game outcome positively. Defensively, the heat need to work a little harder. Specially on Boozer. I know, i know Derrick Rose. The "danger" of the Bulls. But if you look at Game 2 and Game 3, the heat had him under control. Game 3 Boozer got ALOT of free space and made a lot of WIDE open shots. So, the Heat need to work on that. They did great on drawing fouls at the "right" moment. And Dwayne Wade as fast as ever and King James with as much power as ever. i predict that the Heat are going to take Game 4, lose Game 5, and win Game 6. I think it's gonna be a 2006 replay. Heat v.s. Mavericks. That's my prediction. Happy NBA Finals and GO HEAT!
